We recently took a trip out to Vancouver for a friend's wedding. What a beautiful city! Even though it rained almost every day, we still had fun exploring the many areas of the city. I'm hoping we will be back someday.

Munich Part 2

The following were also taken during the first day we were at Oktoberfest. Seeing how I expected huge white tents set up in a muddy field filled with drunken people, I was surprised to see a part of Oktoberfest that catered to families and children. (I apologize for all the Ferris wheel shots. You know I just can't stay away from them!)

Munich Part 1

We were fortunate enough to witness opening day of Oktoberfest. We arrived at the grounds late-morning, walked around the main street to see all the beer tents, and checked out the parade. Here are the photos from the parade and the areas surrounding the parade.

The Beginning

It's been a while since I've blogged, but that is because I have been vacationing in Munich and Prague. Here is the beginning of the trip. And by beginning, I mean beginning. In other words, here are photos I took from the plane to get to Munich. We had a stop in Chicago and another in Madrid before we finally made it to Munich. The following photos were all taken before we arrived in Chicago.
