People!

As you may have noticed, rarely do I take photographs of people. However, I have been feeling the need to branch out into the world of portraiture, so when I was in Chicago, I went on an engagement shoot with my super-talented friend, Cathy. (Check out her work at http://www.cathysunu.com/.) This was my first time observing the inner-workings of what makes a shoot like this successful. I even got in a few shots of my own! Thanks, Cathy, for letting me tag along and learn from you!

Ferris Wheel

I love Ferris wheels. I love the shape, I love the intricacies within the structure, and I love that everything you see in the Ferris wheel serves a purpose. And what better place to take pictures of a Ferris wheel than in Chicago, where the Ferris wheel was born?

Chicago Again

During the last week of June, I made it out to Chicago to spend a glorious week visiting my friends and, of course, my best friend. We ate, drank, shopped, laughed, and danced until we were spent. I am already looking forward to going back. In the meantime, enjoy these shots from my trip.
