People!
As you may have noticed, rarely do I take photographs of people. However, I have been feeling the need to branch out into the world of portraiture, so when I was in Chicago, I went on an engagement shoot with my super-talented friend, Cathy. (Check out her work at http://www.cathysunu.com/.) This was my first time observing the inner-workings of what makes a shoot like this successful. I even got in a few shots of my own! Thanks, Cathy, for letting me tag along and learn from you!

Oldies but Goodies
I've posted the following up on Flikr before, but felt like they also needed to be incorporated into my photoblog. The following were done as assignments for the one and only photography class I have taken. These were not taken using my digital SLR, but my manual SLR.
