The following were also taken during the first day we were at Oktoberfest. Seeing how I expected huge white tents set up in a muddy field filled with drunken people, I was surprised to see a part of Oktoberfest that catered to families and children. (I apologize for all the Ferris wheel shots. You know I just can't stay away from them!)

Ferris Wheel

I love Ferris wheels. I love the shape, I love the intricacies within the structure, and I love that everything you see in the Ferris wheel serves a purpose. And what better place to take pictures of a Ferris wheel than in Chicago, where the Ferris wheel was born?
