The Beginning

It's been a while since I've blogged, but that is because I have been vacationing in Munich and Prague. Here is the beginning of the trip. And by beginning, I mean beginning. In other words, here are photos I took from the plane to get to Munich. We had a stop in Chicago and another in Madrid before we finally made it to Munich. The following photos were all taken before we arrived in Chicago.

Flamingo

Recently, I discovered a ton of photographs I have taken of the Flamingo at the Federal Plaza in Chicago. Apparently, I love it. Either that, or I'm obsessed with it. How else does one explain the many photographs I have of it?

Ferris Wheel

I love Ferris wheels. I love the shape, I love the intricacies within the structure, and I love that everything you see in the Ferris wheel serves a purpose. And what better place to take pictures of a Ferris wheel than in Chicago, where the Ferris wheel was born?

Chicago Again

During the last week of June, I made it out to Chicago to spend a glorious week visiting my friends and, of course, my best friend. We ate, drank, shopped, laughed, and danced until we were spent. Apartment Views

Even though I lived about 10 years of my life in Chicago, I still feel my time there wasn't quite enough. I miss the city and all the unforeseen adventures that came with it. One thing I particularly miss is the ever-changing view from my apartment.
