Strobe!

The following is my first attempts at shooting with an off-camera strobe. I hope you like it!!

City Methodist

More than a month ago, I took a trip to Chicago. I was also able to take a trip down to Gary, Indiana to photograph City Methodist church. The cornerstone of the church was laid in 1925, and the church was closed in 1975. After looking a the old photos on this site, I was amazed at the beauty of the church, and equally amazed that through all of its years of neglect, that beauty had been transformed, but still remained.

Mishmash

It's been a while since I blogged, and I knew I had to remedy that. So, I went for a walk, and here is what I came up with. (The last photo is not from my walk, in case it wasn't obvious.)

Mom's Birthday

About a month ago, we celebrated my mom's birthday with, of course, peacocks and swans.
